Lisa Maxim Biscay is an international award-winning Human Resources professional with over 15 years of experience in her field. During her years as a Human Resources professional, she has served as a consultant to the state of Oregon’s Ways and Means committee, the University of North Carolina’s Fashion Design program, the University of Oregon’s Master’s in Sports Management board, the Oregon Sewing Consortium, the United States Department of Labor, the National Employment Law Project, Pew Charitable Trusts and several private businesses.
Additionally, she has volunteered her services to veteran groups and Roosevelt High School on resume writing and interviewing skills. Lisa has presented for the Department of Labor in 2015 and the National Employment Law Project in 2014 in Washington, D.C. in her areas of expertise, and wrote a paper to further promote the issues discussed in Washington, D.C. She has been interviewed for the Department of Labor, the state of Oregon’s Legislature and USA Today. She received the IAWP International Individual Citation Award and the Oregon Award of Merit for her work in 2016.
Lisa currently is working with Hero2Hired, the Oregon Employer Council, DECA and is a Board Member-Associated Oregon Industries, Education and Workforce Committee, Vice President of the Oregon Washington Industrial Liaison Group and Co-Founder of the Oregon Sewing Consortium, a group made up of a group of companies that include Michael Curry, Wesco Boots, Oregon Aero, Inc. and Tactical Tailor. Lisa is a private consultant to companies for Human Resources. Lisa is also a member of SHRM and the Portland and Olympia local SHRM chapters.
